In an attempt to lower their dependency on oil revenues MENA governments are taking steps to diversify their local economies. Most recently Saudi Arabi's Vision 2030 document sets out a roadmap for reform, including the lowering of foreign investment barriers, investing in renewable power facilities and a suite of infrastructrure projects for years to come.
